  What's Been Happening at The Felt Petal Shop? 

Hello lovely people! It feels like ages since I sat down to write a proper blog post, so I thought it was about time for a little catch up — grab a cuppa and let me tell you what's been going on behind the scenes!!

The Milkshake Collection

I want to shout about The Milkshake Collection because it is my favourite collection so far! A beautiful range of warm neutral tones from cinnamon and caramel all the way down to pale pink and cream.

The flowers have the most gorgeous felted ball centres and work beautifully as a bouquet, garland and wreaths including a cascading wreath.

If you love that warm, earthy, understated look then this collection is for you!

The Fairy Dust Peonies 

I have been BUSY making! If you've been following me on social media you may have spotted my latest project — 16 giant felt peonies, every single one a different colour, from the Fairy Dust palette. Think dreamy pastels — blush, peach, mint, lavender, cornflower blue, soft yellow, lilac, sage green and everything in between. I've split them into two beautiful bouquets of 8, so keep your eyes peeled for those landing in the shop very soon!!

The Dahlias Are Coming Back!! 

Now this one made me feel very nostalgic!! A Facebook memory popped up recently — seven years ago I was making felt dahlias as brooches, and honestly they looked pretty gorgeous even if I do say so myself!! That little memory sparked a whole new idea. Dahlias are coming back to The Felt Petal Shop, this time as stem flowers, and they're going to be the star of my next collection — the Festival palette!! Think bold, vibrant, joyful colours — the kind that make you want to dance in a field!!  I'm so excited about this one, watch this space!!

A Little Brand Refresh 

And finally, you may notice things are looking a little bit different around here!! I've been working on pulling my brand together with a warm botanical look — new thank you cards, new care cards, and now a freshly updated banner for my blog, website, all social media and Etsy cover too!! It's all in the same soft peach, yellow and green botanical palette and I am absolutely in love with how cohesive it's all starting to feel. Small business glow up!!
