🍂 Behind the Scenes at Bloom HQ: Autumn Crafting

 Hello lovelies,

It’s that wonderful time of year when the evenings start to feel a little cosier, the first leaves begin to fall, and The Felt Petal HQ slowly transforms into a whirlwind of felt petals, pumpkins, and festive planning. 🎃✨

This past week I’ve been working on two things that feel like opposites but actually go hand in hand — my pumpkin patch collection and a very special floral hoop design. The pumpkins have been such a joy to create, each one topped with leftover flowers from past projects, meaning no two are the same. The hoop is a new experiment — soft florals arranged in an embroidery hoop that has been twisted to create a hanging ball like arrangement.

Of course, not everything this week has been pretty petals and ribbon… there’s been some tough news too. With changes to US tariffs coming in at the end of August, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to temporarily pause orders to the USA. I never want my customers to be surprised by hidden costs, so this feels like the most honest and fair option until everything settles down. Orders to the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand remain open as usual, and I’ll keep everyone updated as things become clearer.

But, back to the exciting news — BloomFest is officially on the horizon! September will be a whole month dedicated to celebrating handmade florals, new designs, and the cosiest of autumn vibes. I can’t wait to share the journey with you all — there’ll be sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes snippets, and maybe even a few surprises tucked in among the petals. 🌼

Thank you, as always, for supporting my little corner of handmade magic. Whether you’re here for pumpkins, flowers, or just a touch of seasonal sparkle, I’m so glad you’re along for the ride.

With love and petals,
Fran x
