 Hello January… and Hello Rambling Rose!

The Felt Petal Shop’s first limited collection of 2026

There’s something comforting about beginning a new year slowly… a soft cup of tea, a tidy craft table (well, tidy-ish), and a fresh collection quietly taking shape behind the scenes. 

For January, I wanted to create something calm, romantic, and timeless — so I’m delighted to introduce Rambling Rose, my first collection of 2026.

This collection is all about softness: petal-pink roses, warm cream buds, deep wine accents, and little blossoms that feel like the first hints of spring. Each bloom is lovingly handmade from wool felt, built petal by petal, giving every piece its own character. No two flowers are ever the same — and that’s my favourite part.

Rambling Rose includes:

A full statement bouquet

Two small posy bouquets

A coordinating garland

A selection of brooches

And a few extra blooms that insisted on existing (they do that sometimes)

It’s a collection that feels gentle, romantic, and versatile — perfect for weddings, gifting, or simply bringing a soft moment of colour into your home.

January always feels like a “reset” month for me. A chance to create slowly, refill the felt drawers, and play with new ideas without rushing. Rambling Rose has been the perfect project for easing into the year with intention, creativity, and a calmer pace.

                                   Why I’m Doing Collections This Year

After a LOT of thinking (and even more cutting…), I’ve realised I work best when I create in small, joyful bursts of inspiration rather than juggling a hundred colours at once.

So this year, instead of big fixed colourways, I’ll be releasing curated, seasonal bundles every few weeks.

They keep things fresh for me — and more exciting for you.

Rambling Rose is the very first.

Cottage Garden will follow in spring.

And yes… there will be a Tropical moment later in the year!

Along with Bloomfest returning in July.
