 A Year of Felt, Flowers & Finding My Flow – 2025 Round-Up


Well… what a year it’s been at The Felt Petal Shop!

If you’d told me back in January that I’d finish the year with 143 Etsy orders, 583 favourites plus website orders, a studio full of new colours, and a head bursting with ideas for 2026, I would have laughed, cried, and probably asked where the scissors had gone this time.

This year has been one of growth, learning, and discovering what really works for me as a maker.
There’ve been wreaths shipped across the world, daffs by the dozen, garlands galore, and one or two occasions involving a dog stealing something vital right before I needed it.

And I wouldn’t change any of it. 

 Highlights From 2025

 Bloom HQ came alive

This year I found my rhythm — juggling orders, fairs, online markets, new designs and, occasionally, my sanity.

 My Etsy store grew beautifully

 130+ buyers, and 583 favourites… I still can’t believe it.

 My website stepped up

More direct orders, more visibility, more confidence in running things my way.

 Seasonal collections bloomed

Daffodils in spring, berries in autumn, festive wreaths… it’s been a colourful year.

 I learned what I don’t want

Four fixed colourway posies?
Yeahhhh… no.
2025 taught me that creativity hates boxes — and that’s okay.



 What’s Changing in 2026 (the exciting bit!)

2026 is going to be my year of simplicity, excitement and flow.
I’m moving away from rigid planning and into something that feels far more me:

 1. Rotating Colour Collections

Every 6–8 weeks, I’ll release a new limited felt collection based on beautiful curated colour bundles.

Once they’re gone — they’re gone.
No repeats.
No overwhelm.
Just pure creative joy.

First up in January?
 Rambling Rose — soft blushes, dusky rosés and gentle greens.

 2. Core Collection (always available)

Some things are too loved to ever retire:

Tulip bouquets

  • Garlands in classic colours

  • Daffodils (seasonal)

  • Brooches

  • Neutral bouquets

These will remain my staple pieces all year long.

 3. Custom Order Slots

To make customs fair, manageable and enjoyable, I’ll be opening:

  • 1 wreath slot

  • 3 bouquet slots

  • 3 garland slots

per month, with a small deposit to secure your space.

 4. More YouTube videos

Yes — I’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes, tutorials, “craft with me” sessions and monthly studio updates.
No fancy setups, no filters… just real making, real mess, real magic.

 5. Monthly Blog Updates

Little round-ups, new collection reveals, and a look at what’s happening behind the scenes here at Bloom HQ — dogs, felt explosions and all.
