The Felt Petal HQ: From Daffodils to Pumpkins — Behind the Scenes at HQ 

It’s been a busy few weeks here at The Felt Petal Shop, and I thought I’d share a little behind-the-scenes peek at what’s been happening in the run-up to BloomFest.

✨ Operation Daffodils

Earlier this month I sent my very first bundle of blooms off to a new home — the beautiful Tŷ Crefft shop in Narberth, Pembrokeshire. 🌼 On the shelves you’ll now find daffodil brooches, tulip bouquets, sunflower garlands, and even a couple of wreaths. It was a real labour of love, and I couldn’t be prouder seeing my flowers brighten up a shop in the heart of Wales.

🍂 The Seasonal Shift

Back at Bloom HQ, the sewing table has been covered in autumn colours. Pumpkins topped with flowers, golden wreaths, and warm-toned garlands are slowly filling the studio. There’s something magical about that first moment when summer daisies give way to rusts, ambers, and golds — the start of cosy season in felt form.

🎉 BloomFest is Coming

And of course, BloomFest is nearly here! This year it’ll run for two weeks (15th–28th September) and I’ll be sharing daily posts on Instagram to showcase everything from classic favourites to new seasonal pieces. Think of it as a little online festival of blooms — a celebration of handmade petals, with a sprinkle of sparkle thrown in.

💌 A Note for My US Customers

Lastly, some very good news: after weeks of tariffs and courier confusion, I can finally reopen orders to the USA! Postage has increased slightly to cover pre-paid tariff costs, but that means no surprise fees when your parcel arrives. Thank you so much for your patience while I worked behind the scenes to get this sorted — it feels wonderful to be able to share my work with you again.
