Petals in Progress: What’s Blooming at The Felt Petal This Week
It’s been a petal-packed kind of week here at The Felt Petal HQ, with pansies piling up, glitter being mysteriously relocated and the first ever edition of The Felt Petal newsletter soon to be winging its way into inboxes!
I’ve been deep in custom work lately — including finishing a six-foot pansy garland that took over my workspace in the most beautifully chaotic way. There’s something so lovely about custom orders — they feel like secret collaborations with the customer, where each petal is chosen with care and every bloom has a purpose.
🌻 Sunlit Prairie Has Officially Launched
In between pansy-making and glue gun diplomacy, I also launched Sunlit Prairie — my latest ready-to-go bouquet, and one of my favourites yet. It’s bursting with sunshine tones, soft white fillers, and the kind of leafy greens that make you feel like summer might actually stick around.
💌 The Felt Petal Newsletter Has Bloomed!
Yes! It’s finally happened — The Felt Petal is about to have a proper newsletter. And the very first edition will be going out into the world like a proud little petal pigeon.
If you haven’t subscribed yet, you can sign up via my website to get first looks at new pieces, behind-the-scenes news, and exclusive previews of seasonal treats (spoiler: pumpkins are coming… 👀)
🎃 Autumn Magic (Just Around the Corner)
Behind the scenes, I’m already planning for autumn — and yes, that means decorated pumpkins are well on the way. These aren’t your average orange blobs. Each one has been lovingly dressed by yours truly and will only be available through the website, not Etsy.
Oh — and I may have a little surprise involving wooden letters coming up too. Personalised, pretty, and perfect for gift season.
🌸 BloomFest Is Coming...
Just a whisper for now, but I’ll be sharing more about BloomFest very soon — a month-long celebration of florals, creativity, and all things handmade. Think of it as a little festival of felt and joy, right from my studio to your screen.
Thanks for following along with my petal-packed adventures — and whether you are about to join the newsletter, ordered a bouquet, or are simply lurking politely with a cuppa and curiosity, I’m so glad you’re here.
