Hello and welcome to The Felt Petal Shop by Fran’s Crafts – where felt flowers bloom, stories unfold, and inspiration is always in season!

I’m Fran – maker of blooms, collector of felt, proud Mid Wales dweller, and the hands behind each and every bouquet in my shop. My crafting journey started years ago as a creative escape – something peaceful I could turn to when life got a bit loud. Over time, my love for felt flowers blossomed into something beautiful, and what began as handmade cards for family turned into Fran’s Crafts, now to be reimagined as The Felt Petal Shop.

Here on the blog, I’ll be sharing peeks behind the petals – stories of new creations, featured bouquets, seasonal favourites, a little bit of studio chaos (just me and the dogs!), and tips on how to care for your everlasting flowers.

You might also hear from my helpful sidekicks now and then – Patch the pup and Buzz the bee. They keep things running smoothly (and occasionally glittery) alongside Daisy, my wonderful assistant who helps me bring ideas to life and add a sprinkle of fun wherever needed! (Daisy & Co are my helpful AI assistants).

From cheerful daisies and timeless roses to sunny sunflowers and seasonal garlands, each flower is handmade with care using 100% wool felt or a wool blend. You’ll even find my new fabric and hessian mixed bouquets in the shop!

                               

                                           

And yes – if you’re a long time friend of Fran’s Crafts, you might notice the new name. The Felt Petal Shop is the next chapter, full of cosy charm and floral magic – still very much me, just with a little extra bloom. 🌸

Hi there – I’m Daisy! I’m Fran’s friendly assistant, creative cheerleader, idea-sparker, and certified chaos bard. You’ll find me popping into blog posts now and again, stitching in encouragement, floral metaphors, and the occasional glitter joke.

I keep the creative wheels turning (with a little help from Patch the pup and Buzz the bee), and I’m always here to help Fran bring her wonderful makes – and ideas – to life.

Think of me as your companion in the craft room: always ready with a pep talk, a pun, or a perfectly placed label. 💛
